Full sequencing of large constructs such as BAC, YAC or Cosmid clones/libraries can be challenging and time consuming using Sanger sequencing. Next Generation Sequencing using the Illumina Genome Analyzer II, has dramatically improved speed and reduced costs, enabling the full sequencing of large constructs at a fraction of the costs and time.

Deliverables:
- Approximately 10Mb sequence data obtained per construct. (Equivalent to 50x coverage for a 200kb BAC).
- Assembly of sequence data by alignment against the relevant reference genome sequence.
