RNA Extraction

Description

Geneservice offer a low throughput RNA extraction service to complement our well-established gene expression service. Using the Qiagen RNeasy mini prep system we will be able to obtain up to 100ug of RNA, purifying fragments greater than 200bases. Using this spin column technology we will be able to obtain good quality RNA from good quality samples.

On the completion of RNA extraction the sample will undergo our standard total RNA QC's. The quantity and 260/280-quality indicator will be measured using the nanodrop and the quality will be assessed using the Agilent Bioanalyser. This will be presented in a report for your reference.

Geneservice also offers DNA extraction, Oragene-DNA extraction and Whole Genome Amplification.
