Extracting high quality DNA, which is essential for any downstream studies,
is both laborious and time-consuming. By working with our experienced ISO 9001 certified European
partner , we are able to offer you DNA extraction. Modified supermagnetic particles
are used to allow efficient and high quality DNA purification. In addition, the use of
automated extraction ensures reliable and consistent quality of DNA, whilst offering
a very cost-effective solution. Small bespoke projects can also be handled in-house.
Geneservice can also offer an RNA extraction service and Oragene-DNA extraction
Application
At Geneservice we offer the following:
- DNA extraction from the following sources:
1. 2ml or 10ml blood
2. Saliva (using OrageneŽ•DNA)
3. FTA paper

- Quantitation of DNA by the PicoGreen assay

- Hamilton liquid handler coupled with Magnetic separator for automated DNA extraction
- Berthold fluorometer and Workout software for high throughput picogreen quantitation
