This general purpose query tool, called "IQ" (short for I.M.A.G.E. Query) allows you to obtain information on any I.M.A.G.E.clone (including MGC clones). Information returned includes Row Position, Column Position, Plate Number, Clone Collection, Clone ID, Sequence, Repeat-masked Sequence, Gb date created, Date modified, Genbank Accession Number, Genbank identifier, Endedness, Is Low Quality, Is Reversed, Seq.length, I.M.A.G.E. Library ID, I.M.A.G.E. Library Name, Tissue Count, Species, Tissue Type and Vector name.

dbEST contains all EST data, including all sequenced I.M.A.G.E. clones. Data can be accessed via dbest number, I.M.A.G.E. ID and genbank number. Example: to find details about I.M.A.G.E. clone 1473250 you should enter your query in the Search EST for box in the format "IMAGE:1473250".

Clone information can also be obtained via SRS. Open +SeqRelated and select DBEST. Example: you can use the Quick Search by entering the clone in the format IMAGE:1473250.

This is the recommended tool for translating I.M.A.G.E. IDs to clone names if you have received clones from the Resource Centre. Multiple IDs can be entered at once. We use this tool to find the plate and well location of the clones you have requested.
Translate tool

This utility allows you to 'back translate' your clone name to get the I.M.A.G.E. ID. This is useful if you have requested a clone from us and no longer have the despatch note from us providing the match between the I.M.A.G.E. ID and the clone name affixed to the agar slope containing the streaked clone.
