MGC Clones - An explanation of your Despatch Note

All publications and database entries for MGC clones must use the I.M.A.G.E. ID. The corresponding MGC ID can be found using our MGC Finder Tool. Below is an example of a Despatch Note printout indicating the correct ID to use:

3872097 (AT6-h10) IMAGE Clone

2819730 (AU4-c2) IMAGE Clone

^ This is the I.M.A.G.E. ID to use for all database/publication entries

^ This is NOT to be used for database/publication entry. This is the plate coordinate for Geneservice use, and is written in UPPER CASE on your agar slope N.B. prefix AT and AV = ampicillin required prefix AU = chloramphenicol required
