LANL HUMAN SINGLE CHROMOSOME LIBRARIES
Clones
Please note that the clone(s) being sent have tested
negative in our phage contamination assay. However these clones should
still be handled with care as no phage assay can be guaranteed to be
100% accurate
Clones from all the cosmid libraries are supplied streaked
onto LB agar + kanamycin (30µg/ml).
Clones on agar should be stored at 4°C on receipt.
As with all clones it is recommended that you re-streak
to obtain several single colonies to test. Clones that test positive
can be stored long-term as glycerol stocks at -70°C. After growth
in LB broth + appropriate antibiotic, glycerol is added to a final concentration
of 25%.
sCos-1 Vector (also called SuperCos 1)

Subsequent Publication:
Please acknowledge both the originator of the library,
LANL as described in the Materials Transfer Agreement that you have
signed, and Geneservice for providing the clone, in
any publication arising out of using this resource. An example of how
a clone (E.g. CLONE NAME = 32-B9 from the Chr. 11 library) should be
described in a publication is: LA1132b9 from the LA11NC01 library.
