1. Who are Source BioScience?

Source BioScience plc is a highly focused biotechnology & healthcare company providing genetic analyses, biomolecular tools and products to the life science research and pharma biotech sectors, as well as diagnostic and screening services to the healthcare community.

The Source BioScience group comprises the life science research activities of Autogen Bioclear and Geneservice and the healthcare activities of Medical Solutions. Geneservice became part of the Source BioScience group in July 2007 and Autogen Bioclear in March 2008.

2. What is happening with the names?

We are currently in the process of rebranding the group and the first phase will show Autogen and Geneservice as

3. What does this mean for me?

It’s really business as usual but with a flow of positive things over the next few months and into the future. The synergy between Autogen Bioclear™ and Geneservice™ is excellent and allows us to offer an exciting & expanding range of innovative products and services and even better customer service. You will still receive the same high quality that you have always received, but just under a new name.

4. Do Autogen Bioclear and Geneservice still exist?

All of the activities of Autogen Bioclear and Geneservice are now conducted / carried out by Source BioScience UK Limited (Registration No 4078501). The Source BioScience group operates from a number of sites across the UK including the offices in Wiltshire, Cambridge and Nottingham and the laboratories in Cambridge, Oxford, Nottingham and London.

5. Do I still order online at the Autogen Bioclear website as I have always done?

Yes. You may notice a change in logo but the ordering process remains the same.

6. Do I still order online at the Geneservice website as I have always done?

Yes. You may notice a change in logo but the ordering process remains the same.

7. Will I still be able to talk to the same staff I have always spoken to?

Yes! In most cases our staff have remained in the same place geographically. Customer Services has moved to our Head Office in Nottingham and many of your contacts will have been relocated there. But you can still contact everyone in the usual way.

8. Will my current project be affected by the name change?

No. Your project not be affected by the name change.

9. Will my current orders be affected?

No. Your orders will be progressed in the same way.

10. Have the telephone numbers changed?

No. Our telephone numbers have remained the same.

11. Have email addresses changed?

Yes. However, emails addressed to @geneservice and @autogenbioclear will still arrive safely, but you will notice that our replies come from @sourcebioscience.com.

Technically, both companies still exist as registered companies (with the respective company registration numbers) but in reality the names are now ‘brands’ and Source BioScience UK Limited (Registration No 4078501) is the active trading company.

3. What does this mean for me?

Future invoices will be in the name of Source BioScience UK Limited, but will still retain a reference to Autogen or Geneservice as brand names. This does not affect the terms and conditions of supply of our services or products in any way.

4. Who do I send payment to?

Invoices will be in the name of Source BioScience UK Limited and include the relevant bank details for payment.

5. Will I still be able to talk to the same staff I have always spoken to?

Yes! It will be the same experienced staff organising finance. The only thing that has changed is our name.

6. I would like to talk to someone about the changes – who should I contact?

Very little at the moment. There is a name change, but otherwise it is business as usual. The e-procurement catalogues which currently show Autogen Bioclear as the supplier will change to Source BioScience AUTOGEN over the next few weeks.

4. So, who do I order from?

Please continue to order from Autogen and Geneservice in the same way as before the name change.

5. Will I still be able to talk to the same staff I have always spoken to?

Yes! It will be the same experienced staff in Customer Services. The department has moved to our head office in Nottingham, but most of our lovely staff have relocated.
