LLNL CHROMOSOME 19 LIBRARY NOMENCLATURE
Clones from the Chromosome 19 libraries can be requested using one of three
formats:
LLNL Internal ID
Select the "database/publication" button on the order form
Examples of clone entries:
F23487
R34737
FOS37502
GenBank Clone Name
Select the "database/publication" button on the order form
Examples of clone entries:
LLNLF-193E7
LLNLR-310G1
LLfos-27A6
GSL Co-ordinate
Select the "Screening of GSL filters" button on the order form
Examples of clone entries:
F49I13
R23N2
W7B11
(Please do not use a hyphen when requesting clones using GSL Co-ordinate.
e.g. F49I13 is acceptable but F49-I13 is not acceptable).
We provide a tool for correlating all the IDs for a given clone at
Chromosome19_Finder
Please Note: it is relatively easy to duplicate an order for the same clone
because the clone is named differently in different databases.
This may not be immediately apparent.
E.G. F23613 is exactly the same clone at LLNLF-194H1 (both are
the same clone with GSL coordinate F49O2).
To avoid paying twice by inadvertently duplicating a clone order,
you can use the tool
above to ensure that clones are actually different.
